Boston Celtics, the most successful club in the NBA, won its seventeenth title last night by beating the Lakers 131-92.

The change will cost the Lakers feel bad, but not the Celtics, who went for it and succeeded. They won all the quarters (+4, +19, +6 and +10) to add 39 points of difference in the end, a savagery that has left the Lakers knocked out.

After 22 years, the Celtics finally return to the top. Larry Bird and his cronies have become Pierce and his buddies (I'm not comparing, I do not eat) at the top of the mountain in the NBA.

Kevin Garnett was almost the best game with 26 points and 14 rebounds. Ray Allen also scored 26 and Paul Pierce, who won the Finals MVP, stood at 17. Paul Pierce is the only player who was the Big Three last season, when the Celtics got the extremely low mark of 24 victories. How has it changed the story. Rajon Rondo, and star guard for the Celtics, was the best party. 21 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds and 6 steals.

The Lakers never had options. It has become the first team to overturn a 3-1 in a Finals. But they have broken another record, one very negative. The 39-point difference is the biggest beating of an NBA team in the game that gives the NBA victory. The previous record also held the Lakers, losing to the Celtics in 1965 by 129-96.

Kobe Bryant scored 22 points. "They are the best defense we've seen in the playoffs. My goal was to win the ring, not the MVP. "Pau Gasol scored 11 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, all defensive. Lamar Odom scored 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Celtics ran over them.

The NBA has a new owner.
