The U.S. national team that will represent her country at the Beijing Olympics is already done. Twelve top players in the NBA will try to get the gold for his country and forget the failures of the past tournaments.

The twelve players are:

Carmelo Anthony (Denver Nuggets), Carlos Boozer r (Utah Jazz), Chris Bosh (Toronto Raptors), Kobe Bryant (LA Lakers), Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic), LeBron James (Cleveland Cavaliers), Jason Kidd Chris Paul ((Dallas Mavericks), New Orleans Hornets), Tayshaun Prince (Detroit Pistons) Michael Redd (Milwaukee Bucks), Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat) and Deron Williams (Utah Jazz).

As we see, all players are stars in the league. Highlights that only attended by a natural-born center, Dwight Howard (who stood as well Gasol feet), a huge terrible player under the basket. This year there will be no problems from the outside shot (most recently, were having) with Kobe Bryant and Michael Redd specialist. Carmelo, LeBron, Bosh ... all of them and know them pretty well.

The U.S. tournament to begin on August 10 against China, the hosts, and the 16th will face Spain.

With this, the American federation tries to eradicate once and for all the bad image they have shown in recent championships, where anything other than a U.S. victory is considered a failure. Remember that until recently the U.S. had not dropped a match since professional players to become members of the selection.

Jason Kidd is the only one of those players who has an Olympic gold, that achieved in Sydney 2000.

Out of the squad were left 21 players, as the work program included a 33. Some of the most renowned players will not go are Gilbert Arenas, Chauncy Billups, Joe Johnson, Amare Stoudamire, Shawn Marion or Lamar Odom.
