Everything is ready for the Tour de France 2008. This Saturday gala round will start in Brest and take a journey of 197.5 miles. To start strong.

It's the only thing that will change in the first week of the Tour de France. There will be no prologue. The rest, all the same, the first week of opportunity for the sprinters with a 29-kilometer individual time trial on Tuesday 8 July.

The first big mountain stage, where it is cooked well, will be on July 13, Sunday, perfect for seeing her safely in the living room. 224 kilometers with two first ports in the end, though the top of the second, Col d'Aspin, is 26 miles from the finish.

The next day will be better because instead of having two ports first ports in the end we have two special category, one goal of the stage, will rise at a stage of 154 kilometers, the Tourmalet and Hautacam crown on.

The mountain lovers have to wait until July 20 to see her suffer climbers on two wheels again. Another high-end in a stage of 216 kilometers. After a day of rest and two brutal stages in the Alps, with special category five ports in two days. Alpe D'Huez will kill the mountain stages. Then, an individual time trial on Saturday, July 26 and 53 kilometers walk final in Paris.

Hopefully that is a clean Tour where prime the show, although we have not Alberto Contador, whose team is not allowed in the Tour of cheating by doping two years running. Alejandro Valverde and Cadel Evans are favorites for overall victory.
