Well, soon we'll know which teams are. First of all let's see how the teams are divided into groups:

Group A:

Lithuania
Russia (European Champion)
Australia
Argentina (Olympic champion)

Group B

China (host)
U.S.
Angola
EPC
EPC

The three teams that have yet to qualify will be the winners of a tournament that begins tomorrow and ends on the 20th. Something short. This tournament involves twelve teams divided into four groups:

Group A: Brazil, Greece and Lebanon
Group B: Cape Verde, German, New Zealand
Group C: Canada, Korea and Slovenia
Group D: Cameroon, Croatia and Puerto Rico

The competition format is as follows: triangular within each group and pass the first two quarters. There, the eight teams play knockout. The winners of the semifinals will be qualified for the games. The two defeated the remaining seat will be played between them. There is no final in this tournament between the winners of the semifinals.

We'll see how it ends. We have some players in the tournament known as the German Dirk Nowitzki, Canada's Samuel Dalembert, Carlos Arroyo, Puerto Rico or Rasho Nesterovic, New Zealand. However, we will not see Anderson Varejao of Brazil or Steve Nash of Canada.
