Greece won yesterday to Puerto Rico, as expected, 88-63. The Greek national team, one of the best in the world of basketball, will return to the Olympics. America sure is shaking thinking about the 2006 World Cup when they trounced the Greeks playing his game.

In addition, Puerto Rico lost its star guard, Carlos Arroyo, to the losers final against Germany on Sunday, game that is played the last chance to attend the Olympics.

Papaloukas, author of 9 points and 10 assists, said at the end of the meeting: "When you play at home you have to stay focused and absorb the energy of the fans."

For its part, Germany succumbed to Croatia. The Croatians do not play the Olympics since 1996, but in 2008, twelve years later, they will. Germany yesterday won despite 30 points and 13 rebounds from its star Dirk Nowitzki. 70-76 was the final result. The better the match for Croatia was known in the ACB Marko Tomas, who scored 21 points.

Thus, Puerto Rico and Germany will play the final spot for the Olympics this afternoon, in a match that will be marked by the defeat of yesterday, which marks much like a team, and for injury to Carlos Arroyo, but this not definitive.
