With the upcoming start of the competitions, more and more brands to join the festivities of the presentations of their machines for next season. Now is a new announcement, Honda and their intention to participate in the GT300 class of Super GT Japan and the World Championship cars, better known as WTCC. At the moment we have no photographs of the actual appearance of the car, only representations, but this will last briefly and Honda's intention is to start participating in the GT300 category this season. Will participate where the CR-Z Mugen Team for the team piloted by Hideki Mutoh, driver who has raced in the Indy Car and the GT500 class of Super GT. On the other hand in the WTCC , championship that remains close, the newest member of the grid will be the Civic hatchback in its European version even has little to do with this. It will have a 1.600cc engine to meet the FIA regulations developed in close collaboration with Mugen, and a new chassis developed by JAS Motorsport racing. But unlike the CR-Z, the Civic will not participate in the WTCC until next season, so this year will be devoted to its development. The first tests of the Civic, when there are no setbacks, are planned for October at the Suzuka Circuit.
