Many bands spend years together after releasing albums, touring and not separate accounts for more than a week between jobs, they decide to take some time because, otherwise, you end up killing. Now people Incubus revealed that, after the summer tour they are doing, stop doing music for a while , for now, is undetermined.

The Californian quintet launched in July 2011 If Not Now, When? Made the announcement in an official manner, and apparently, all that would point to Brandon Boyd is the culprit, so to speak. Why? Because apparently it is because Boyd wants to start preparing his new solo album.

In an interview with Billboard people this is what he said:

We have no plans, to be honest. By the time I was playing and playing things for my second solo album. That's probably the next stage. In regard to Incubus, we probably take some time.

He said that hopefully will not be as long as the previous one and that they intend to continue making the best music they can.

I know it can be frustrating for our fans, but music will do better this way.

It seems that, after all, again we must wait to hear something new from Incubus. Not only that, we will also run out of live performances and tours of the boys from California. Anyway, it's like Boyd says. While it is so they can rest and then come back with more forces and ideas, it's all good.
