The song is part of the film Maktub and is played by Laura Esquivel of Argentina, Bejotaeme and Cream. The synopsis of the film the following:

Manolo (Diego Peretti) is in full midlife crisis. His marriage to Beatrice (Aitana Sanchez-Gijon) is on the brink of chaos, routine work is unbearable and communication with their two children and life itself is harmful.

However, fate leads him to cross with Anthony (Andoni Hernandez), a boy of 15 years canary cancer patient but with a highly contagious vitality. Thereafter, their friendship with him, his mother (Goya Toledo), a fun food dealer (Jorge Garcia) and an eccentric nurse (Rosa Maria Sarda), among others, will be the beginning of countless coincidences that change their life in a fun and magical Christmas story.

The word "Maktub" comes from Arabic meaning "what is written." The title refers to those strange coincidences that happen to us sometimes and seem inevitable, like product of fate.
