Soundgarden released new album in spring 2012

In February this year now, Chris Cornell of Soundgarden confessed that the group was preparing new material . Until now we had not known in what state was the new production, but in an interview with Spinner , the leader of the training has to be published in spring 2012.

Although it has not given details on the title or how many songs include, Cornell has admitted that the new album will be an evolution in the group's sound:

I think it just sounds like a natural progression. There is something nostalgic or retro. Soundgarden I do not see returning to its roots, nor do I know what it would be. Soundgarden has always been an eclectic group. For me, a continuation or resume where we left things.
