Although it has only three feature films as director, Spike Jonze, a director is not exactly very idle. Most of his works are restricted to the field of short, many documentaries, and video clips, a mine of directors who end up finding work in Hollywood. Well, if not since 2009 Jonze premiered a film is not lacking for projects, and currently is working with two dashes each more interesting.

The first is written by the always interesting Charlie Kaufman, with whom he was involved with his first two films. Best of all is the argument of this satirical comedy will be a secret meeting where world leaders will address issues that currently dominate the world (oil prices, terrorism, wars ... but from a perspective very funny) . I personally very much resembles the plot of the Kubrick film Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.

On the other hand also has another project, this time from a screenplay by Jonze, who seems to have priority. This is a romantic comedy, but nothing unusual. Not known to many details of the plot but how little we know is that will be an ordinary man who falls for the virtual voice type system Siri iPhone. That is, can not be a more topical issue so they may prefer to study production begins as soon as possible, lest they move up another production company.

Best of all, apart from the interesting and promising initial approach is the deal with that count. Have now been confirmed by four names: Joaquin Phoenix, Carey Mulligan, Samantha Morton and Amy Adams. I am sure that any director would do anything for them to have four in his movie, and Jonze's going to be available. Not only that, because both Phoenix and Mulligan also signed up to participate in the political satire written by Charlie Kaufman, but do not know when you can start shooting.

Unfortunately, although the project has the green light, screenplay, director and cast confirmed, have not released any dates filming far from release. Probably not too late, since practically all fringes are closed, so with any luck might hit theaters later this year.
