How to collect rainwater at home. Until some decades ago was very common the use of tanks for the collection and accumulation of rainwater.

Unfortunately in many places, due to access to drinking water networks, the tanks have been in deshuso, but the need and ecological awareness are returning to give them the value they really deserve.

The tanks were huge deposits of rain water of thousands of liters. Gutters fed by collecting water that ran through the roof when it rained.

It's time again to take advantage of the valuable water from rain , although not the need for daily household activities, we may be necessary to water the plants or gardens.

Thanks to the plastic tanks for water today is not necessary to the manufacture of these huge tanks underground cement. You can get gutters and tanks at sites specializing in plumbing materials or in any hardware store.

There are special containers for this purpose, if you notice that a tank does not reach you for the entire collection, you can put several interconnected. These deposits have a tap so you can easily use the water through a hose.

You can do the gutters on a home by opening the middle and placing PVC pipes to pick up all the water possible sliding of the roof.
