The Nanotechnology is the science that is applied to a nanoscale level, that is extremely small measures "nanos" for working and manipulating atoms and their molecular structures.

The nanotechnology revolution, is associated, first, to "molecular manufacturing" whose viability would have a huge impact on our lives, economies, countries and society at large in the near future. Among the effects, they emphasize its potential impacts in medicine, biology, environment, information technology, construction. At present the major practical advances already exist in some fields: Nanoparticles, Nanotubes, etc. .. This is the impact that large numbers of professionals needed to be pursued by what I speak of nanotechnology courses .

Nanotechnology Course Objectives:

• understand the concepts, principles, theories and basic facts related to nanoscience and nanotechnology;
• their application to solving problems of a quantitative or qualitative;
• recognition and the ability to analyze physical, chemical and biological agents in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology to raise adequate responses or work for resolution;
• the development of works of synthesis, characterization and study of the properties of nanoscale materials;
• manipulation of tools and standard materials testing laboratories' own physical, chemical and biological processes for the study and analysis of phenomena at the nanoscale;
• interpretation of data obtained by experimental measurements;
• the application of the general safety and operation of a laboratory and specific rules for handling and instrumentation products and chemical and biological materials bearing in mind their properties and risks;
• make accurate assessments of health risks and environmental and socioeconomic impacts associated with chemicals and nanomaterials;
• knowledge of the laws governing intellectual property in the field of knowledge and application of nanoscience and nanotechnology;
• recognize the terms relating to the field of physics, chemistry and biology, and nanoscience and nanotechnology in English and use English effectively in written and spoken in the workplace;
• and apply ethical principles and legislative measures in the context of nanoscience and nanotechnology
