Paleontologists from the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid discovered a spectacular graveyard of dinosaurs with thousands of fossils in eastern Spain.

Among the 8,000 fossils have been discovered eight species of dinosaurs, which were discovered by accident while building a highway near the city of Cuenca. Scientists estimates that you could be the "graveyard" fossil largest and most diverse dinosaur in Europe. (Image)

What is pleased to paleontologists discovered the fossils are older than 70 million years, and this diversity is highly appreciated, as this period is little known in western Europe.

The paleonyólo José Luis Sanz spoke with National Geographic by email and said: "We are confident that in the future, once we have studied the large amount of fossil material recovered from the reservoir, we find that there is more diversity than expected.

The dinosaurs became extinct 65 million years, so this is a great discovery to be a sign of the last dinosaurs Europeans.
