The Saga The Giver is for anyone who does not know the last of the most successful literary sagas in the United States has now been published in Spain by Everest and that surely will please all lovers of science and particularly of science fiction. The Giver is the original name of this saga that Lois Lowry has written and has sold over five million copies in the United States.
The series consists of two books, The Giver of Memories and In Search of the Blue, which gives us a technological future in which society is based on a constant perfection which acts as evil and violence have no place but This does not mean that the prevailing harmony is real. Jonas is the protagonist of The Giver of Memories. It is a 12 year olds living in this future full of perfection where all the arts have been eliminated and where humans are divided between those who are eligible and those not and can not decide for themselves. The young man is very special but, as elected by the Community in which he lives to be in charge of taking charge of all the memories, knowing then all the feelings and memories of the past that Jonah will change forever ... The Saga The Giver has been very controversial in the U.S. and its theme was that in many universities was removed, now is in Spain and it is advisable not to pass up.
