Beta version 12 recently released Firefox 4 could be the last before the final, now expected any day this month of March. So it is fitting to recall that Firefox 4.0 will also be the last major version to be released from the popular browser. So explains Jay Sullivan, vice-president of Mozilla products:
This new Mozilla policy is similar to the one taken by Google for a time for up Chrome browser, which has minor updates automatically distributed to users every 4 to 6 weeks, and over every 4 to 6 months. Posted in VivaLinux! , filed in Software and tagged as Firefox and Mozilla .
