PMW 500 PMW 500, la nueva videocámara XDCAM de Sony

Sony has used the recently completed IBC to reaffirm its catalog of XDCAM camcorders. It has done so with the introduction of the new PMW-500 , a team of similar characteristics as the PDW-700 but with a workflow more flexible.

Based on an FX Power HAD CCD sensor 2 / 3 ", allows recording both 1080p and 720p with bitrates that reach up to 50MB / s. Equipped with two SxS card slots, onboard recording used as the XDCAM HD422, which is achieved by a faithful recording of the color records. Either way, it is also compatible with XDCAM HD422, XDCAM HD and XDCAM EX. For power, even you can switch easily between MPEG IMX and DVCAM.

Sony also introduced together with this new camera, its new 64GB SxS cards (SBS-64G1A), allowing long recordings with a stable and reliable. In fact, this card can record up to four hours of uninterrupted material with the highest image quality. At the moment the prices of these teams were not disclosed, but if you go by taking a look at the PMW-500, and are appearing first on-line analysis of the team.
