It's been seven months that Apple has been slow to realize that they had blundered in the transition from Final Cut Pro to Final Cut X. Mainly because I had left literally thrown all the professional image of the world (including Hollywood) that until then were regulars of this nonlinear editing software. Today Apple finally reconciled with them, with the upgrade to Final Cut Pro 10.0.3 X . The highlight of this update, is that not only incorporates new features, but finally restore items that should never have been removed.

Among the novelties , the most important and prominent might be:

  • Automated Multi-Edit
  • Significant improvement Chroma Key
  • Search by Media Relink gross
  • Pets layered Photoshop files
  • Broadcast monitors use as output

As you can see, the most striking is the ability to edit and synchronize especially gross multichamber automatically. Now you can be quite a filmmaker letting the computer you sync it. But not only that has brought this update, since that can once and for all import and export both to and from Final Cut Pro and Fincal Cut Pro X. This is possible thanks to two new applications that Apple has just launched its online store for Final Cut Pro 7toX and Xto7 for Final Cut Pro . Grcias them you can upload your old projects in this new program and vice versa, export from FCPX to the Old Final Cut Pro without any problems. This was a demand from the professional sector from the beginning, do not understand how Apple did not respond in time.

Another great advantage is that now you can (in beta) professional team of monitors connected to our editor. You can do this through Thunderbolt or PCIe cards without any problems, which will have access to something as fundamental in the sector such as broadcast waveform monitor, vectorscope monitors and high-quality calibrated

Besides all these interesting new features have also been updated other programs that are often necessary to work with CF, such as Compressor, which has been updated to its version 4.0.2 . The same has happened with a lot of third party manufacturers who have upgraded much of plug-ins and drivers for this program. Hopefully Apple will follow the right path, and go slowly updating the rest of the industry demands following tracks (like the famous EDL or dump to tape) still longs to see again in your favorite program.
