From the Canadian manufacturer Dalsa , comes the latest camcorder recording at resolutions of 8K. We refer to the freshly baked NIR Piranha HS , an equipment for industrial applications where image capture in areas near infrared is essential. Designed specifically for image capture in low light situations, the Piranha HS NIR specializes in image acquisition within the ranges of 700 and 1050 nanometers, with primary use of industrial control applications such as screening of solar cells food control, inspection and similar motherboards. With a native resolution of 8192 x 256 pixels, a data rate of 320 MHz, pixel size of 7 microns and less than 800 grams, this new team stands above the competition, being one of the best camcorders characteristics for this type of industrial control work. I remind you that Dalsa is one of the leading manufacturers of precision optical equipment. In fact, one of his last team was sent on a space mission to Mars unmanned. Dalsa has also recently expanded its activities into film applications, with the development of digital cinema camera Dalsa Origin , one of the first 4K video to appear on the market, used during the filming of the James Bond film "Quantum of Solace" . He is currently out of print, not showing much interest in the manufacturer back to the entertainment industry.
