The committee will continue working with the owners of intellectual property, Internet companies, financial institutions to develop a proposal to combat Internet piracy and protect American intellectual property. Feedback from all organizations and individuals who have an honest opinion different from ours is welcome. The committee remains committed to finding a solution to the problem. The legislation will be postponed until a greater consensus on what should be the solution.

SOPA Act critics found both in the world public opinion as a large segment of the Internet industry, including large companies like Google and Wikipedia projects such as publicly opposed the approval of the bill that would have broken free and open issues the operation of the internet today.
