Crack the Surface: pieces of utopia and urban exploration

My first post in ALT was about the wonderful work done by Bradley L. Garrett through his doctoral research Hacking Place . Months later and under the same slogan "Explore, everything," the adventures of the group of hackers infiltrating the urban space infrastructure closed, abandoned or prohibited are back a glorious documentary project, still in process, called "Crack the Surface".

At the rate the more underground dubstep, hackers lead to urban spaces that despite being so close to the surface, are completely invisible to our eyes, not to mention that are often inaccessible or simply not allowed access to infrastructure despite public. From catacombs , abandoned subway tunnels, pipelines, construction cranes and forgotten spaces in the U.S. and Europe - Bradley L. Garret crosses the concrete of the cities to create sensual visual ethnographies urbex (urban exploration), described in his blog as pieces of utopia ... hacking of reality.

The most recent exploration is documented in the Hacking Place site, infiltration is "The Boneyard" a military base in California, or rather, a retired airplane graveyard.

"The Boneyard" was something that had never experienced before - monumental, impeccable, surreal. It had a great time and would love to visit, especially since I was only 2% of the planes are there. The truth is missing the right words to describe the work of one of my favorite hackers.
