The S570 is compatible with DLNA, which means that a new Blu-ray Disc from Sony can "talk" to other DLNA-compatible devices like your phone, laptop or music player and reproduce your content on the TV no matter what part of the house are.
You can easily connect a USB device or external hard drive into the USB port on the front of the Blu-ray Disc to enjoy movies, music or images on your TV or home theater system. With support for Blu-ray extended to an even larger number of file formats like DivX HD and MKV is now easier than ever to share their own content.
Exclusive to the new Blu-ray player and home cinema systems from Sony, who own an iPhone or iPod touch can control them through a free application that can be downloaded from Apple's App Store. The application enables an iPhone or iPod touch function as a remote control and includes the ability to access details of a Blu-ray, such as album art, information on production and the actors as well as searching for other clips on-line video.
