Yesterday we talked about the difficult situation that was going on THQ, which has been forced to lay off 240 employees . As seems to be the only one with problems.

Take-Two has announced losses important financial records, always with respect to the 2010 figure. Year on the other hand was excellent, thanks to the success which earned them the game Red Dead Redemtion carrying a whopping 13 million copies sold. Course in 2011 with LA Noire (5 million copies sold) things have not been as good, though not too bad.

Take-Two has seen over the last nine months of 2011 revenues of 677.7 million, down from 954.6 million the same period in 2010. A significant decline has alarmed enough to company and that has meant some changes in their release plans.

Spec Ops: The Line, which announced that its development was completed and ready for its arrival in stores, has been delayed. The game will eventually see the light in the first half of next fiscal year (so that its benefits do not count on this "disastrous" year) between April and September.

The other major releases such as Bioshock Infinite or Borderlands 2 , are ongoing and will not be affected as they were planned for the next fiscal year. The game that perhaps saw the picture, it finally comes out this year (although no official date confirmed yet) is the expected Grand Theft Auto V , which may not arrive until at least April 2013 so as to become the first major title the company in 2013. It was not until an official announcement to know when we can enjoy this great game.

Mind you, nobody thinks that Take-Two has ceased to be profitable, these losses are not as dramatic. The company makes money, what happens is that this year has earned less money than last year.
