If you are someone who uses iTunes on your computer to keep your music collection organized and do not know how to carry your Android Might Airbind .

Airbind is a small application that lets you synchronize your iTunes library with our Android, in a simple manner and through the Wi-Fi. It is available for free in the Android Market.

To get it going, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Download and install Airbind on your PC or Mac
  2. Install Android Airbind .
  3. Sync your library

I found it very simple to be true, so I decided to try it on my own. Although it took me over 10 minutes to start the synchronization between the PC and my Android , I found a few details, so I decided to do to you, this brief summary:

The good

  • The application is free.
  • Installation is very simple.
  • It runs through our Wi-Fi.
  • We can choose whether you want to synchronize only the music or if you also want to synchronize video and photos we have in our library of iTunes.
  • After matching our devices, we can choose to synchronize automatically.
  • The music is stored automatically in the phone's SD card and is ready to be played.

Bad

  • The application for PC and Mac is developed in Java, apparently without any optimization, making resource-intensive for how simple it is.
  • The first attempt did not work. After several unsuccessful attempts, I went to the website of Airbind for help, mainly to see if there were any additional adjustment to make. Surprise, there is no help or space within the site to discuss questions or to report faults.
  • After a couple of minutes, the Windows application stopped responding and I had to reboot to return to normal. After rebooting, everything went back to happiness and I could begin to synchronize.

When synchronization is complete, all the music was available in the library of Android and ordered the same way as on PC.

I think the developers might worry a little more to improve applications for PC / Mac and not just worry about the mobile application. It is definitely a product that meets its goal, but that much remains to be mature. That if it's worth trying.

Thanks to Airbind, we will quickly and without much expertise, our library ready to go.
