It was getting hard to get, but after the ViewPad 7 come out on stage, at last we have seen the 10-inch tablet dual-boot that we had prepared ViewSonic . A failure to decide its final name, possibly Viewpad 100 or 10i, we know that this tablet will come with an Intel Atom N455 inside, 1 GB of RAM and a 16GB SSD. Its star feature is the ability to dual boot, but I feel tell us a little disappointed. Indeed, Windows 7 will come with Android, but the latter must not exceed the Android version 1.6 x86 processor, a real shame. Maybe in the future, but meanwhile it strikes me that many are already thinking about tinkering with this tablet and put the odd operating system, perhaps the next Ubuntu 10.10 with multi-media ? As you would imagine, includes connectivity options like two USB ports, a microSD slot design edges remind me of the iPhone 4 . On the other hand, the finish area of the buttons are not especially interested me, but I suppose it's a matter of taste. Another of the most rugged and yet we know nothing, is the battery life. Something in gadgets of this kind is crucial and decisive in their buying decisions. In this case, estimating the duration is more complicated, since when have two operating systems can vary greatly from one to otroy all depends on the use you expect to give. Although it has no fixed dates, are expected to be put on sale later this year and for a price not exceeding $ 500. After the jump I leave with a video where you can see it better and see it changing from one operating system to another. Personally I really like this tablet, or tablets successive follow this same line, for two reasons. The first is that the screen size (10 inches) seems the right for a tablet, and that makes me 7-inch too small. The second is the ability to switch between Android and Windows 7 makes the hands carry a tablet, but also a laptop for when you need to simply add a USB or Bluetooth keyboard. This also affects the battery life of the device. If you carry only Windows 7, today you can forget about long durations, so I get along with Android and will take out the maximum time possible. But I left you with the video. Reveals the ViewPad ViewSonic 10-inch dual-boot [IFA 2010] written in SlashGear on 2 September, 2010 by Lee Germain
