Since long been speculating on the future operating system WebOS . Many are the ones we see running in the next few tablets of HP , but another has already said is the integration of the operating system on printers and networked devices. In case you had any doubts, the latest statements of HP's technical director, Shane Robinson, make that clear. According to Robinson, one of the objectives of the company is targeting to the web and that is exactly what provides the operating system of the acquired Palm . The latest printers All-in-One HP include features Wi-Fi connectivity and, as stated, claim that "most HP printers are connected to the web." On the other hand, also spoke of not insisting that WebOS replace Windows on their netbooks as that works and does not want to lose the market they already have won. So, everything points to the characteristics and applications of multifunction printers and HP may offer increased performance and new services may become even teams with a decent operating system and completely independent of another computer. The trend seems to be this and frankly I think that is fine. However, I think they will not forget to include the WebOS in other laptops and tablets. At the end of the day it was originally on mobile phones and most natural step is similar devices but with a larger screen. WebOS for HP printers written on Engadget on 6 August, 2010 by Lee Germain
