The Droid update could improve battery life

Droid Motorola this week began receiving small updates to their firmware. But even with the naked eye from being insignificant (2.1 Android anything yet), could impact very grateful: Users began reporting dramatic increases in battery life.

The Droid is a mobile that used to its full potential, has great battery consumption, thus improvements in energy management are greatly appreciated.

Beyond that, the update is sent by Verizon fixes some problems with the implementation of Facebook, and could be a preparation for a major upgrade as Android 2.1 (hopefully yes). We will also be waiting for updates from other operators in other countries, or updates for your sister version, the Motorola Milestone.
