For though we are in the month of February, there is no other to say new year and new equipment. The same maxim is endorsing the house Onkyo , which just introduced no fewer than six new receivers within its domestic line for this 2012: 4 within the input range and 2 in the range HTIB. The four highest-end models are the teams:

  • TX-NR616 (receptor 7.2 with THX certification)
  • TX-NR515 (receiver with networking)
  • TX-NR414 (5.1 receiver with networking)
  • TX-SR313 (receiver 5.1)

The new HTIB models are:

  • HT-S5500 (receiver 7.1)
  • HT-S3500 (receiver 5.1).

As you can see, there is everything for everyone, and in pharmacy. All feature HDMI InstaPrevue preview system, MHL compatibility and support Spotify in the case of models with networking. To highlight the top model (TX-NR616) with THX Select2 Plus will fill the needs of the world's finest image, especially considering that also includes (along with the TX-NR515) video processor Qdeo can scale from any image source to the 4K. All this without forgetting its front USB port for connecting external devices such as iPod, iPhone or hard drives.

For its part, the models HTIB (HT-S5500 and HT-S3500) are input devices with off-road qualities that make affordable pretenten sound quality and performance, despite having less money. Incorporate support for sound systems such as Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio or Dolby Pro Logic IIz, so it is up to date in terms of sound systems is concerned. In short, an interesting new line of equipment is what we expected from Onkyo for this 2012.
