Undoubtedly, this was the year of smartphones, because Apple will not be remembered and Samsuing distributed over 90 million terminals each, but because at last began to catch the attention of consumers who did not know what would be the advantages of these terminals, besides that, it far exceeded the personal computers. In a new study by Canalys for all of 2011 shows the amazing growth of smatphones on the category of PCs

Apple was the leader in distributing 93.1 million iPhones, followed by Samsung with 91.9 million phones (all models), leaving behind Nokia with 19.6 million and RIM Blackberry with fourth place but the clear , which really surprises me. If we try to understand the graph, we find that the teams and more substantial growth over a quarter were the tablets (or pads, as defined in the table), however, throughout the last year had a growth of smartphones 62 % while globally, PCs grew by 14%.

The final figure was 487.7 million smartphones distributed compared to the 414.6 million PCs which also include touchscreen devices with smaller sizes at 11 ". If anyone should get a pat on the back cards are the notebooks that were kept and maintained an even better growth, though slight, was not a decline of -25% as sucedión with netbooks.

This year no doubt will be another day to excel in terms of smartphones are concerned, as well as with laptops that with the proliferation of Ultrabooks and approach to improve the design with simple and minimalist features, will begin to appreciate further the laptop market and certainly the smart phones and tablets.
